Furlough Day

I had to take a mandatory furlough day yesterday but I still had to drive my daughter in to school. After I left her at school I parked my car at a park and read a book, dozed off for an hour, crocheted some more of the baby blanket, I left the park and went shopping but bought nothing and then went to eat. I have to take another furlough day on Friday.

Where's My Doggie?

We came home last week Friday to no Nina dog in the yard. My daughter was so sad she decided to make posters of her and later that day we posted them in the neighborhood. The next day I called animal control and sure enough, they had her and she was delivered right to my door.

Weight Loss Challenge

I joined Mary's Martyrs at work as a 2 month weight loss challenge. Mary let me borrow her book I Can Make You Thin, so far it makes sense. This Friday I only lost 2 pounds.

Almost the Weekend

Tonight I'm too lazy to go out for a walk so I will just sit and crochet some more of my zig zag blanket.

Excercise

I went for a 30 minute walk tonight. I wanted to take my dog, Nina, but she was asleep already.
