Potato and Chile Soup

It snowed today and I was craving soup. I peeled and boiled 2 potatoes and added butter, milk, garlic, chicken bouillon, black pepper and chile, thickened it a bit with cornstarch.

My kids' favorite go to comfort food has always been pasta alphabet soup. Today it is mine only it won't be homemade all the way. Good thing I found this back home.

Warm and Fuzzy Afternoon

The furnace came on so I'm enjoying every warm minute if it with my fuzzy slippers and some cookies. Oh, and I will study too.

A Bit Of Frost

I woke up a tad bit late this morning because I stayed up late looking up the answers to the questions from the Salamanca tour and I looked out the window and saw this.

Conquering Mt. Godzilla and Gamera

I have not used my cane in 2 days. I have been able to walk up Mt. Godzilla without all the huffing and puffing like on the first day.

Comfort Food

I cooked a small pot of beans that I bought yesterday at the butcher. I don't recall the name but they cooked up beautifully. Just missing some Pico de gallo and corn tortillas.
