My sister, Martha came to visit from Texas and brought a lot of nice yarn so I knit her her very own first shawl just like the purple one that I made for my niece. I finished the bind off in the airport right before she got on her flight.

| This is the final part of the lace! Yay! Now just some simple garter stitch and I can hand it over. |

| The blocking was done the night before my sister left for Texas while the shawl was still on the needles. I felt more comfortable with at least blocking the lace part because she does not knit and she also wanted it a bit longer. I was just too tired to go on. |

| Ta Daaa! I only had about 10 stitches or so to bind off and I did it at the airport right before she left. |
