Enchiladas

I made chicken and cheese enchiladas. Nothing fancy and quite hurried as Gustavo came home and it was getting late. The flavor was there just not the fancy.

Sunny Days

The last week in Salamanca was sunny and warm. The days were very pleasant and there were so many people walking in the plaza. I finally got the chance to eat at an outdoor cafe and people watch. Here I am waiting for my former exchange student from Germany.

Segovia

This place was quaint and lovely. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was very nice too. I would love to bring my family here one day for a visit.

Sevilla

We had some time slotted for a stop in Sevilla to have lunch. Some if the folks in the group headed off on an adventure and I sat under a shady pergola across the street from the Plaza de Toros. Alot of elegantly dressed people were making their way to the plaza to watch the bullfight.

Morrocco 2013

I went to Morrocco with most of the group for the weekend. We enjoyed the warm weather and the tour was very interesting.

Lunes de Agua Picnic

Today is a local holiday called Lunes de Agua and the group headed out to a field near the river bank to enjoy a light lunch. The day was cool and a bit breezy but I enjoyed the relaxing and comforting feeling and the company.

Albondigas

Mexican meatball soup aka "albondigas". I made some today with every veggie I could find at the store and I bought fresh ground meat from the corner butcher. My cilantro is almost gone but today I planted some coriander seeds in the pot-hopefully it grows.
